What others are saying
This campground is located about 7 miles from the interstate and is a co-op where you rent a vacant owners site. It is a nice park off the beaten path, allowing for hiking and biking without worry about traffic. The area can be noisy on the weekends due to a nearby party and racing cars, and the streets end in dirt roads. The manager was helpful in guiding guests to their level gravel sites with large cement patios. The pool and hot tub provide a refreshing break from the heat, and the laundry room is nice, although an old, rude lady who lives there stole a machine with clothes on it. The park model occupants have access to all the facilities, sewer and water needed, but RVers have to use their laundry and pay high dump fees. As Escapee members, guests have access to the pool, hot tub, laundry room, recreation hall, and library. The manager was unable or unwilling to provide an estimate for the electricity costs for a site with hook-ups. Despite the noise and the rude lady, the value for money is very good and the people are nice.
