The clearing boasts panoramic mountain views, overlooking a field that is oftentimes home to horses, and it is an ideal starting point for all adventures - fishing, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, ocean and river excursions. Despite its immersion into nature, it is only a 10-minute drive to the Bella Coola airport, a 5-minute drive to the nearest store and gas station in Hagensborg, and a 2-minute drive (or an easy walk) to Saloompt Forest Trail, an interpretive trail with massive firs, cedars and spruce, and the Saloompt River, where salmon abound.
