From The Campground
CaloWarren Crossing Farm is nestled in a forested 13-acre slice of paradise. Owners Ted and Robyn Fisher diligently cultivate a welcoming environment for those seeking to reconnect with the agricultural basics. Amidst the lush greenery, you'll discover an annual vegetable garden interwoven with a variety of perennial food-bearing plants. The farm boasts numerous landscaped gardens and ongoing projects, offering just a glimpse of its vibrant activity. For animal enthusiasts, CWX is home to a charming array of creatures, including sheep, Nigerian Dwarf goats, rabbits, Indian runner ducks, American Mini pigs, various chicken breeds, and a handful of friendly dogs. While the farm is ideally suited for tents, it can also accommodate truck campers and small RVs, with access to water, power, and sewer facilities. On weekends, CWX opens its gates to the public, inviting families to enjoy close encounters with the animals. The on-site farm store offers a tempting array of delights, from farm-fresh eggs to French-pressed organic, locally roasted coffee, and 8 flavors of Foothills ice cream served in homemade waffle cones. Additionally, guests can indulge in a selection of homemade treats. During the growing season, visitors can also partake in the experience of picking and purchasing fresh produce straight from the farm.
