From The Campground

Lassen Creek Campground is a lovely little campground near the obsidian collection areas. This campground has picnic tables and fire rings. It is operated by the US Forest Service and is open from mid-May to late October. The campground is first come, first served and does not accept reservations. There is no fee for camping, but water and garbage service are not provided. Dogs must remain on a leash while in the campground and developed recreation sites. The closest town is Alturas, which is 44 miles away.
