This campground is located in the Antioch area, just outside of San Francisco. It is a small, gravel lot with water, electrical and sewer hookups at the back of each site. It is a safe spot to stay, with a rectangular fence surrounding the area and a camp host living on site. The campground is cash only, with a self-pay station at the gate, and the rate is $30 per night. There are no amenities, such as showers or bathrooms, but basic needs are met at a decent price. There is no wifi, but it is possible to set up a connection through a cell phone. On Saturdays, there is a large flea market adjacent to the park and the auto races at the adjacent Antioch Speedway can get a bit noisy. It is a good place to stay for a night or two while exploring the Bay area.

The Contra Costa County Fair is held at the Contra Costa Event Park and has been hosting hundreds of thousands of guests for over 75 years. The fairgrounds celebrate all that is best in Contra Costa County while preserving the agricultural heritage of the community. The fair offers rental facilities, live music, entertaining shows, Antioch Speedway events, fantastic fair food, traditional exhibits, youth livestock, a new and free family fun zone, and much more.
