From The Campground

Lake Alpine Campground is one of five campgrounds within the Lake Alpine Recreation Area that are situated in mature conifer forest on the shores of Lake Alpine. The campground has 25 sites, and there is RV camping but no hookups or electric. Potable water is available seasonally, and restrooms are flush and vault. The campground is open from late June or early July through the summer season. Emergency medical services are available at the Arnold Medical Clinic in the Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold, or at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital in San Andreas (Highway 49). Gas, groceries, and camping supplies are available in Bear Valley and at Lake Alpine Lodge. Public (fee) showers are available at Lake Alpine Lodge.
