What others are saying about this campground

The sites are very close together, but there is plenty of room for the kids to run around. There are lots of trails and lake access, and plenty of wildlife. There are also water slides, a marina store, boat rentals, and a restaurant. The bathrooms were kept clean and there was a ranger who was very vigilant in enforcing quiet time and proper behavior. The only downside was the weak cell phone reception and no internet connection. Overall, Lake Lopez is an excellent place to camp for families with tents or RVs, and its a great base camp to visit the central coast.

Lopez Lake Recreation Area is a year-round campground that offers camping and day use facilities. The campground is located in Arroyo Grande, California and offers numerous hiking trails for the adventurous types, and endless areas for those who want a peaceful and relaxing stroll. The campground is also home to Vista Lago Adventure Park, a state-of-the-art high adventure ropes course with over 50 exciting elements that will test your abilities. Mustang Water Park is also located in the heart of Lopez Lake and offers “wet and wild” fun for the entire family.
