From The Campground

San Joaquin River Gorge Management Area is a beautiful recreational area located in Fresno and Madera Counties. The area offers multiple campgrounds and day-use sites including Ya-Gub-Weh-Tuh Campground, Aholul Group Campground, Equestrian Campground, River Access Day-Use, and a Visitor Center. The area has over 20 miles of multi-use trails that are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The trails are named after the Dumna and Kechayi Native Americans who once called the Gorge home. The area also offers interpretive programs and educational experiences for visitors, schools, and other groups.
