This campground is the perfect place for exploring the historic gold country of Nevada City, Grass Valley, Auburn, and Placerville. It offers a big grassy area to walk dogs, stable electric, good water pressure, great wifi (recently upgraded), and nice shade from nearby trees. Shopping nearby is excellent, with Target, Home Depot, and a great hardware/plumbing store closeby. The park also features a 24-7 office/store, on-site 24-7 security, a bar, a restaurant, cable with 50 channels, multiple Wi-Fi hot-spots, and a large pool with new patio furniture. The road to and from the park off of Hwy 49 can be difficult because of traffic, but there is a side street between Target and Safeway that has a signal and is easier. There are sites in various areas of the park for those who prefer shade vs. sun, and the park is very clean and offers a Good Sam rate.

Located in the heart of California’s historic Gold Country, Auburn Gold Country is the perfect year round destination for those looking to explore the roots of California’s history or strike it rich in the California Gold Fields. Our RV Park is situated close to Highways 80 and 49, making us an ideal stop for those on their way to Reno, Lake Tahoe, and the state’s capitol. We do our best to provide our guests with a comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for families and those coming to relax a bit in the area’s great climate. Our park provides guests of all ages with great amenities and attractions.
