Sequoia Resort is a peaceful and quiet campground located in the Sierra mountain foothills, offering a great home base for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. With 377 acres of wooded property, the campground is great for letting your dog run off leash and offers plenty of opportunities to reconnect with nature. The resort offers 6 full hookup RV sites with 30 amp power, water and sewer, as well as several cottages for rent. There is a single bathroom/shower, a laundry room with free washer/dryer, and nearby trash cans. There is no picnic table or fire-pit/grill, but there is a community area with tables/chairs and grill that is right next to the RV sites. There is a small store with snacks, drinks and Sequoia Resort t-shirts, and a concrete deck area with a propane grill and a couple of picnic tables for all to use. The resort also has a guest shop room with free wifi and lots of DVDs, as well as row boats, bikes and a washer and dryer available for your use free of charge. The manager, Andrea, is extremely helpful and friendly, and the roads to get to the resort are winding and narrow, so caution is advised. The resort is located 30 minutes from the closest entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and the manager is happy to help with maneuvering to your site, unhooking car, and offering free laundry, library with books, DVDs and WiFi. There is a nightly hosted community fireplace with the manager inviting all campers. Be sure to stop at the Kings Canyon Lodge on Hwy 180 if you’re hungry, thirsty or need ice cream or gasoline.
