Desert Palms RV Resort is a campground located close to a busy railroad track, so there is always plenty of noise, 24 hours a day. It is a convenient and clean park, with long pull-throughs, 50 amps, cement pads and picnic tables on patio blocks. There are clean, orderly sites for long-term campers and monthly spaces with gravel, new power post, and easy clean sewer hook ups. The park accepts Passport America for a discounted price and has a very friendly and helpful manager. There is a pool area and spa, reasonably priced laundry, and clean bathrooms. Unfortunately, the park is in a bad area of town and there are a large number of shady characters who roam the park at all hours. There is also a constant barking of dogs and cars that drive through with stereos blasting. The only thing wrong with this place is the trains right next door and a engineer that loves to blow the whistle at 5 AM for 1/2 hour.
