So, we had to move our RV to a different spot. This RV Park is a basic, affordable campground located in a run-down area of town. It has crescent shaped sites that are easy to pull into, with grass and a picnic table. There is a lot of traffic noise from the nearby highway, and trains pass through with frequent whistles. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the office, laundry, restrooms, and pool are clean. There is a small lawn area in front of the check-in office which is scattered with dog poop. There is also a problem with ants that needs to be addressed. Despite these issues, the park is generally clean and quiet, and the rates are very reasonable.

Additionally, the park offers RV, boat, and vehicle storage with 104 storage spaces plus large C-train containers. The park is conveniently located near the Kern River and several exciting attractions, including wineries, Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace, Bakersfield Museum of Art, and the California Living Museum.
