From The Campground

McConnell State Recreation Area is located on the banks of the Merced River and offers camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking, and geocaching. The campground allows dogs and has family campsites, group campsites, and RV access. Amenities include picnic areas, exhibits and programs, a beach area, swimming, family programs, and restrooms/showers. The park is open from 8:00 am to sunset and reservations can be made online up to six months in advance.
