From The Campground

Silver Valley Campground is located on the Calaveras Ranger District at the east end of Lake Alpine Recreation Area. The campground has a timbered setting near several trailheads. It offers 21 campsites, all of which are reservable. Unreserved sites will be available on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis. The campground is listed as (Lake Alpine) Silver Valley Campground on Recreation.gov. The campground is operated by Lake Alpine Campgrounds Inc. and offers potable water (in summer season only) and vault toilets. The nightly camping fee is $30. America the Beautiful Senior and Access passes and Golden Age/Golden Access passes are accepted for reduced nightly camping fees in single sites.
