Big Pine Creek Campground is a classic spot nestled in the Muir Wilderness, offering stunning views and access to amazing hikes. The campground is well kept and clean, with modern restrooms and vault latrines. There is a small store nearby for the essentials, and a trout pond for fishing. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, tent pad, and bear box. The hosts Steve and Annie are very helpful and provide excellent service. At night, you can fall asleep to the sound of the nearby Big Pine Creek. This is the perfect basecamp for day hikes up Big Pine Creek Trail to some beautiful blue lakes, and is conveniently close to all the iconic sites in Yosemite Valley.
