From The Campground

Limekiln State Park is currently closed due to storm damages and Highway 1 road conditions. The park features breathtaking views of Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the rugged Big Sur coastline, in addition to redwood forests and the cultural history of limekilns. Visitors can reserve campsites and lodging six months in advance from the current date. The weather can be changeable, so layered clothing is advised. The park offers hiking trails, fishing, a beach area, and geocaching. Restrooms, outdoor showers, and drinking water are available.
