Ventana Campground is a luxurious camping experience located in the heart of Big Sur. It is surrounded by a giant redwood forest, and a creek runs through the campground with a 2-foot waterfall nearby. The campground is well-maintained, with recycling/trash and potable water stations scattered throughout, and modern bath facilities with flush toilets. However, there are no dish washing areas, and showers come at an extra cost. The campground also features the RovR RollR 60 cooler, with a folding tote container attached to the top with velcro straps. Inside the cooler, there is a special bin that can hold items that dont need to be chilled. Unfortunately, campers are not able to choose their specific site when reserving ahead of time, and some sites are hike-in only, so campers should be prepared to pack lightly. The bugs can be annoying, but the greenery and beauty of the area make it worth it.

Ventana Campground is located in the beautiful Big Sur area of California. The campground offers stunning views of Ventana, Post Ranch Inn, Pacific Ocean, and the Big Sur Lighthouse. It is situated near several popular hiking trails, including the Pfeiffer Falls Trail and the Pfeiffer Ridge Loop. The campground is also close to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, Pfeiffer Beach, and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. The campground has strict safety regulations to ensure a peaceful and safe experience for all guests. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash at all times.
