What others are saying about this campground
Browns Town Campground in Bishop, CA is a casual RV park that provides water and electric only, with 30 amp service. The cost to dump is $5 if you are staying there. Tokens are available for showers, allowing 7 minutes of hot water per token, although the cost per token is unknown. The campsites are mainly pea gravel and located in the back by a nearby golf course. We heard that there are some nearby attractions, including The Bristol Cone forest, a railroad museum, and a quaint fabric store called Sierra Cotton and Wool. One downside is that Wi-Fi is not available, so you will receive your confirmation by mail and have to fill out another card upon arrival. Additionally, the campsites only provide 20lbs of water pressure, possibly due to their sprinklers being on for the entire day and night. The pull-thru sites do not have grass or fire rings and there are no sewer hookups, so you will have to pay for the dump fee even if you are staying on the site. Some campers feel that the campground could be better maintained by the owners.
