Hidden Beaches is a campground located on the Colorado River, offering stunning views and plenty of outdoor activities. It has its own boat launch and a small market that sells a variety of items from bread to hard liquor. Fishing is also available right off the shore, with a 4 1/2 pound catfish caught recently. Each site has water and power, and staff come around twice a week to pump out tanks. There is a leash law for pets, but this appears to only apply to short-term campers. The sites are short and close together, so maneuvering can be tricky. There is no sewer hookup, but staff will empty your rig with a honey bucket trailer twice a week. The store also offers WiFi and electricity for an extra charge. The Passport America discount is available, but not on weekends. The campground is a great place to bring the family and enjoy the outdoors, but be aware of the loud music and voices coming from multiple sites and barking dogs.
