The park has several campgrounds including Bodega Dunes, Wright's Beach, Willow Creek Environmental Camp, and Pomo Canyon Environmental Camp. The campsites offer fire rings, picnic tables, and pit toilets. The park also has several beaches including Goat Rock Beach, Salmon Creek Beach, Portuguese Beach, and Schoolhouse Beach. Visitors can observe harbor seals, gray whales, and a variety of bird species. The park is home to the Western Snowy Plover, a threatened species, and visitors are asked to respect the protection of their nesting habitat. Dogs are not allowed on certain beaches and in certain campgrounds. Visitors are advised to be cautious of the ocean conditions and to stay on designated trails.
