This campground is located on the Kern River, providing easy access to the river for swimming and other activities. It is close to Miracle Hot Springs and offers a variety of camping sites, some with a shelter and some with a view of the river. Unfortunately, this campground closes at the end of November and campfires are not allowed during the summer months due to high temperatures. The campground is also not suitable for big rigs, as the road coming in is very narrow in areas. Despite this, the campground is a peaceful and private spot with plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring. The camp host is friendly and helpful, and the campground is a great spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
