This RV park is located in Borrego Springs, close to the Anza Borrego State Park. It is a popular destination with Snow Birds during the winter months and is generally one third full. The published rate is $76 per night with full hook-ups and a $12 per day resort fee, although Good Sam discounts are available. The campground features a pool, hot tub, restaurant and shared fire pits, as well as easy access from the main highway. The sites are on sand and can be a bit uneven, but the staff is helpful and accommodating. There are some restrictions on outdoor lights, but good Verizon and AT&T signal and decent WiFi. The RV park is in need of updating, but the washrooms are clean and the location is good for hiking trails and visiting the state park. The Steakhouse restaurant within the park is decent but service is slow. Overall, most visitors found the stay pleasant and enjoyed the wildflower viewing.

At Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort, good times and great company are never hard to come by. You see, our grounds are no more than a stone’s throw away from Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. So ‘round here, folks tend to spend their days hiking out to see mind-melding giant metal sculptures and huntin’ down scads of wild desert flowers during the superbloom. And when they’ve had their fill of cacti and kickin’ up dirt, they know they can cool their heels and catch a good meal right here at the resort. With outdoor pools and hot tubs, folks can swap stories while soaking up scenery. With a restaurant, a saloon and a little live music, they can rustle up some grub and a pretty great time. And with a location smack dab in the center of an Internal Dark Sky Community, they can take a gander at one of the most impressive displays of the Milky Way anywhere in the U.S. too. No matter if you’re riding solo or driving a carriage full of family and four-legged friends, you’re bound to be mighty glad that you booked yourself a place at Palm Canyon.
