There is a minimal cleaning fee added to the nightly rate, making this an affordable park. There is no cell service (Verizon) but a good Wifi signal. The owners, John and Becky, are friendly and committed to making sure guests have a great experience. There is a campfire every night, weather-permitting, and a shared patio with barbecues. Fishing is available a short walk away, and there are hiking trails nearby. The restrooms are available 24/7 with a code. Sites are not level, but blocks can be used to correct. The area is remote, so there is not enough electricity for even the basics. The owners offer a wealth of knowledge about the area and its attractions, such as Bodie and Mono Lake, and Yosemite National Park. Guests can also enjoy a campfire get-together and smores. The park is well maintained and offers a peaceful and charming atmosphere.
