There is plenty of hot water for showers. The campground offers a honey wagon service which can be scheduled in advance for an extra fee as only a few sites have full hookups. However, there are a limited number of 50-amp sites and sewer sites. The campground provides fun Halloween activities for guests to enjoy. There is cell service and Wi-Fi at the campground, but only at the higher elevation sites, specifically the X section at the top of the hill. However, OTA TV reception is only available at the top as well. While the campground has a peaceful atmosphere, there is not much to do in the immediate area, so plan accordingly. There are a few local campers who feed the deer that roam around the campground freely. The pool area is locked. The campground roads are narrow, winding, steep, and have tight turns, so larger RVs should be careful. The electrical connections can be problematic, and power surges are common, so plan accordingly. The lodge has an older decor, and the store hours are confusing. Overall, Lake of the Springs RV Resort is a good spot for those who want to relax and recharge for a few days. The bathrooms are clean, and the campground is peaceful.
