The campground is a basic gravel lot with no grass, no picnic table, no fire pit, and no cable tv. However, the wifi was pretty fast and Verizon phone and Mifi worked fine. It is rustic and the fairgrounds, which provided a nice place to walk the dog, was pretty overgrown. Getting there was a bit tight as you have to drive through Calistoga and some residential streets, but managed in a 40 Motorhome towing. The rate reflected includes the Passport America discount for 4 nights, so used an average based on length of our stay. Calistoga RV Park & Campground is a rustic campground located in Calistoga, California. It is a basic gravel lot with no grass, no picnic table, no fire pit, and no cable tv. However, the wifi is pretty fast and Verizon phone and Mifi work fine. It is located five blocks from the main street of Calistoga with restaurants, spas, bars, and a grocery store. The campground is surrounded by seasonal trees, providing shade in the summertime. The fairgrounds provide a nice place to walk the dog, but can be overgrown. It is big rig friendly, but the neighborhood streets have very low hanging branches. The rate reflects the Passport America discount for 4 nights, so used an average based on length of stay. The bathrooms are dated but the location of this park close to downtown Calistoga cant be beat. It is close to wineries and the start of the Silverado Trail, making it a great value for money in Napa Valley.
