From The Campground

Snag Lake Campground is a small, rustic campground located in Tahoe National Forest. It offers 12 undesignated campsites with space for small trailer use, vault toilets, and lake water source (purify before drinking). The campground is adjacent to Snag Lake and offers an abundance of beautiful high mountain lakes with a variety of accessibility along with scenic rugged geological features of granitic ridges and glacially serrated rock outcroppings. The campground is closed due to hazard trees.
