From The Campground
Reservoir C Campground is a quiet and scenic campground located in Modoc National Forest. The campsites are partly shady and located right on the water, making it a great spot for fishing and boating. The campground is also recommended for amateur astronomers as light pollution is non-existent. There are no reservations, and all sites are first come, first served. The campground is open from mid-May to late October, and there is no fee for camping. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash, and there is a camping limit of 14 days. Garbage service is not provided, so visitors must take all trash, garbage, fish guts, and dog droppings with them when they leave. There is a vault toilet on-site.
