From The Campground

Reservoir F Campground is a beautiful and serene camping spot located in Modoc National Forest. The campground offers 6 spacious single campsites that are first come, first served. The campsites are close to the shoreline and shaded by tall pines. The campground is suitable for RV, trailer, or tent camping. There is no fee for camping. Water and garbage service are not provided, so campers must bring enough water for drinking, cooking, and washing, as well as extra water to drown campfires each day. Dogs are allowed on a leash only. Fishing is a popular activity at Reservoir F, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks the reservoir seasonally with trout. All California fishing laws apply, and all anglers over the age of 16 must have a valid fishing license in possession. Boating is also permitted, and a boat ramp is located at the entrance to the campground. Canoe and kayak use is a great way to sight migratory waterfowl along the shoreline. Day use and picnicking are permitted at Reservoir F Campground. There is no fee, and reservations are not accepted. Day users must exit the campground and the area by 10 pm.
