From The Campground
Oak Flat Campground is located on the north west side of the Angeles National Forest with easy access off the I-5 freeway. With 20 campsites, grab the family and spend the weekend roasting marshmallows around the campfire, go on a hike to Whitaker Peak, or hop in your vehicle for a short drive to the cool waters of Piru Creek at Frenchmens Flat. The campground is open year-round and offers vault toilets, picnic tables, and campfire rings. There is currently no piped water available, so visitors are advised to bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires. The maximum RV length is 22' and there are no hookups. Campsites are first come-first served and no reserving or holding of campsites is allowed. An Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required for camping and day use.
