From The Campground

Cave Lake Campground is a lightly used campground located in Modoc National Forest. It is a perfect place for a weekend or week-long getaway. The campground is open from early July to late October, and reservations are not accepted. All sites are first come, first served, and the fee is $15 per night per site. The campground has a vault toilet, and dogs must remain on a leash within developed recreation areas. Picnicking is allowed until 10:00 PM, and the Modoc Backcountry Discovery Trail runs past the campground.
