Stough Reservoir Campground is a beautiful campground located in Modoc National Forest. The campground is situated at an elevation of 6,200 feet, providing relief from the heat of the valleys on either side. The reservoir is small but is kept stocked by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The campground offers campsites with nice views of the reservoir, tall trees, and shady campsites. The setting is perfect for boating, fishing, and picnicking. The campground is open from mid-May to late October and offers first-come, first-served campsites. Dogs are allowed on a leash only, and the camping limit is 14 days.
