From The Campground

Elam is a developed campground along upper Deer Creek with 15 designated sites; most can accommodate an RV. There is a maximum of 8 people per site. Fire rings and tables provided. The campground is open from April 23rd to October and the fee is $14 per site per night. Drinking water is available and there are vault toilets. Campfires are allowed in fire rings only and all animals must be on a managed six (6) foot leash. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6 am, no fireworks, must occupy site first night, and every night thereafter. Saving campsites is strictly prohibited. The closest town is Chester, CA which is 30 minutes away and Chico, CA is 1 hour away. From Chico, travel east 55 miles on Highway 32.
