Russian River RV Campground in Cloverdale, CA has many trees that provide shade to campers. Although some of the facilities were closed, we found a decent spot with a suitable size. The location is in a great area near a beautiful vineyard and a cute town. The Verizon and AT&T signals were strong. However, the campsites were close together, and some of the facilities were closed and in need of maintenance. The park entrance was poorly maintained, had cobwebs, and needed cleaning. The laundry facilities and honey truck were also outdoor and not in good conditions. The parking pads were paved, but they were narrow, which created safety hazards. On the positive side, the Russian River, although low, provided a beautiful environment for our dog to enjoy. Despite being Thousand Trail members and staying for free, we would not stay at this campground again. We would recommend finding a different spot to camp.

Russian River RV Campground is an age-qualified resort that offers RV campsites and rental accommodations. Pets are allowed on the premises. The campground does not allow campfires or wood fires. Sites are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The campground offers full refunds for cancellations up to 2 days prior to arrival for daily and weekly reservations for RV campsites and 7 days prior to arrival for rental accommodations. For cancellations received less than the required notice period prior to arrival, the deposit will be forfeited up to one night rack rate. For long-term reservations (28 days or longer), the campground allows full refunds for cancellations up to 60 days prior to arrival. The deposit amount will be held on account for a future stay for cancellations received less than the required notice period prior to arrival.
