From The Campground
Marmot Rock Campground is located on the south shore of Courtright Reservoir in Sierra National Forest. The campground offers 15 walk-in campsites, adjacent to Courtright Day Use Area. Large Lodgepole pine trees provide shade for some sites and some have spectacular lake views. Sites offer picnic tables and fire rings. Amenities include tent camping, picnic tables, toilets, and drinking water. The campground is operated by PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) and is open from May to September. The maximum length of stay is 14 days and the maximum group size is 6 per site. Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $2.00 per night. This is bear country, so visitors are advised to store food properly and not feed the bears. Bring mosquito repellent.
