From The Campground

Condon Peak Campground is a newly constructed campground located in the BLM - Central Coast Field Office area. The campground offers level RV pads, fire rings, shade structures, picnic benches, vault toilets, and a kiosk providing an interpretive panel, a map, and information about the area. The campground is open for dispersed camping as well, but camping within 200 yards of any wildlife watering improvement is prohibited. The area offers various recreational opportunities such as hunting, hiking, camping, stargazing, wildflower and wildlife viewing. A trail leading up the Condon Peak summit can be accessed from the parking area. Target shooting is allowed on BLM lands, but there are no designated target shooting areas in the Central Coast Field Office area. Hunting is also allowed in the area, including upland game bird, small game, and big game like deer and wild pigs.
