What others are saying about this campground
Park of the Sierras is an Escapees coop park located conveniently a short drive from the Highway 41 entrance to Yosemite. The park is well maintained and offers spacious, level gravel sites with modern hook-ups, surrounded by old-growth oaks and manzanitas providing shade. The clubhouse has a large lending library, thrift store, commercial kitchen, open deck seating with barbecue grills, workout space, and a furnished reading/relaxing area. The staff are friendly and volunteers are on hand to help visitors find their way around the park. There are two cable channels dedicated to park events, announcements and helpful information. The park is limited to Escapees members and their guests, and electricity is charged extra at the PG&E rate. Wi-Fi is only available in the clubhouse, but Escapees can rent a DSL modem at their site for a nominal fee. There are no pools, spas, golf courses or stores, but the community is super friendly and have many activities to which visitors are invited.
