Drivers arriving from the north should be aware that the route through Coronado can be challenging, so it may be worth taking the longer drive via Highway 5 South to Highway 75, Imperial Beach instead. The gate leading to the RV park is only open from 1400 to 1700 hours, so travelers should plan accordingly.
