Ye Olde Yosemite RV Park is a rustic campground located 25 miles from Yosemite National Park. The roads are difficult to navigate even with an SUV, and the interior roads are made up of rough potholed broken pavement, dirt, and some gravel. The sites are gravel driveways with grassy/hilly areas, and not all that level, making it difficult to maneuver for bigger rigs. The campground provides full hook-ups at a very reasonable rate and is shaded and quiet. There is no cell reception and the WiFi provided by the front office is slow but functional for light use. The bathrooms are small and old, but everything works and is satisfactorily clean. The campground has a very nice shared greenspace in the middle of the park with a communal fire pit and horseshoe pit. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the owners are very caring people. This campground is perfect for those looking to detach from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and explore Yosemite National Park.
