The campground is nestled in a valley with a creek running through it. You can hear the creek from your site and there is plenty of shade from the trees. It is close to Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes and other attractions. There are hiking trails next door, a lake across the highway, and a little bakery across the street. There is a dog run that is completely and securely fenced with grass and two shade trees. The trout ponds are a nice amenity even if you dont fish. The campground is peaceful and serene, with the sound of the creek and the huge mountains above the park making it a truly beautiful place to stay.
