This campground is the perfect spot for travelers on I10 or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The sites are large and feature a patio, table, and black top-level small rocks. The 50 amp electric requires some “wiggling” for a connection, but it is safe. There is a library, welcome cooling room, and Riverside County Fire Department on site. The lake is a great place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery. The park is a mix of pre-fab housing units and RV spaces. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The nearest store is over 50 miles away, so come prepared. The campground is close to Joshua Tree National Park, making it a great base camp for day trips.
