Upper Oso Campground is a beautiful campground located in the Los Padres National Forest. The campground has 10 campsites that are first-come, first-served only, and 14 campsites that are temporarily closed until further notice. The campground is situated in a canyon setting with oak trees and a seasonal creek running through it. Amenities include tables, firepits with grill, barbecues, flush toilets, water, and garbage bins. Firewood is available for purchase from the campground host. The campground offers river access to the Santa Ynez River along the last 6 miles of Paradise Road. There are several accessible sites at this campground. Campfires are currently allowed with a CA Campfire Permit. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Dogs must wear a collar with current tags at all times, as state and county laws apply on National Forest System lands.
