Johnnys is a great place for an overnight stay or extended stay. It offers a friendly and accommodating atmosphere with a harbor view and access to a huge wetland and private beach. Amenities are limited, with no WiFi, cable, washroom facilities, or showers. It is a great spot for ocean fishing and has a restaurant within a very short walk. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the other campers are nice and respectful. It is a great spot for those who are self-sufficient, and is cheaper than most places in the area.

Experience the charm of Johnny's At The Beach, located in the heart of the famous Redwood forest. This pet-friendly campground offers full hook-ups, a small marina with mooring available, a deck off the back of the office overlooking the marina and wildlife, and a fish cleaning table. It is located across the street from King Salmon Beach and within walking distance to the favorite restaurant Gill's By The Bay. The campground is an ultimate playground for birders with access to forest, mountain, marsh, river, lake, and sea-based ecosystems. Sportsman’s paradise with activities like fishing, clamming, hunting, or just viewing all forms of marine mammals from sea otters to all types of pinnipeds.
