Shoreline RV Park in Eureka, CA offers convenient access to a walking/biking path that takes you to the old downtown, the marina, and Target. Although there are some homeless individuals present in the area, the park is well-maintained, with relatively clean sites and lush green grass between them. The park does not have a perimeter fence to keep transients out, but it is a functional and well-priced location for an overnight stay. There is a gas station close by for fuel and supplies. However, some care is needed when driving into the park, as there are potholes on the road leading to it. The office is unattended, and check-in is done via computer. The park has a lengthy list of rules and regulations, but with no personnel to enforce them.

From The Campground

Shoreline RV Park is a family-owned campground located near Old Town Eureka, right on the Humboldt Bay Trail. The bathrooms are warm and very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park offers free high-speed internet, and the drive-thru spaces are nice and long. It is walkable to restaurants and a paved path around it. The location is awesome, with a Target within walking distance and other stores not far away. The park is relatively quiet and offers a quick trip to a shopping center or a scenic drive to one of Humboldt’s many historic small towns.
