From The Campground
Cooper Canyon Trail Camp is a hike-in campground located in Angeles National Forest. The campground is situated at an elevation of 6300 feet and offers 5 hike-in group campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings/klamath stoves, vault toilet, no trash receptacles, no piped water available. Seasonal stream water is available but it is recommended to treat it before using. However, water flow may be low or non-existent due to reduced rainfall. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires. Pack In-Pack Out. Bear-proof boxes provided for storage of food and scented items. The campground provides access to the Pacific Crest Trail, Silver Moccasin Trail National Recreation Trail, and Cooper Canyon Falls. Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass is required for camping and day use. California Campfire Permit is also required.
