From The Campground

Giant Gap Campground is located on the north west shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir in Tahoe National Forest. This campground is set in a cedar and pine forest overlooking the reservoir, which provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking and boating under 10 mph. The campground has 30 single sites, 5 double sites, and amenities including piped water, vault toilets, fire rings, bear lockers, and paved trails. The fees are $24/single site (6 people), $48/double site (12 people), $72/triple site (18 people), and $5 for extra vehicles. The campground is open from April 30 to October 31 and reservations can be made online or by phone. The closest town is Foresthill, CA. OHV use is not permitted in Sugar Pine Complex, only in staging area.
