From The Campground

Halfmoon Campground is a beautiful campsite located in Los Padres National Forest. The campground offers 10 campsites for tent camping and is situated near a creek. The campsite is accessible by a dirt road and is normally accessible by a 2-wheel drive vehicle. The campground is a popular deer hunting area and is also great for off-highway vehicle camping. The campground is first-come, first-served and does not offer any reservations. The campground is open year-round and offers Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful Pass required to camp overnight. The campground is operated by the Forest Service and is located near the Mt. Pinos Ranger District Office.
