Rancho Nuevo Campground is a primitive campground with 2 sites on a grassy canyon bottom, accessible only by 4-wheel drive. The road may be closed in winter. There are no reservations, and it is first-come, first-serve. There is no fee to camp here. The campground has a pit toilet, but no water. Current fire restrictions apply. The campground is operated by the Forest Service. Camping, hiking, and hunting are popular activities in the area.
