What others are saying about this campground
Fresno Fairgrounds RV Park is a fenced and gated location with power, water and sewer connections, located behind the livestock show area. It is not an RV park per se, but rather a bunch of hookups along the fairground buildings, where the public may stay when the Big Fresno Fair isnt on. The spaces are very small and are located on an asphalt parking lot. The staff on the phone and the night watchman were very helpful and polite. This is a very substandard stopping place; you cant call it a Park as you have minimal amenities and are subject to the influx of animals right where you park. The animal pens are in the open air building right in front of the parking area. It is VERY loud as there is only a chain link fence and some plants between you and the road. Pull inside gate and go into admissions office to pay. The RV sections is along the fence near the road, bus stop and Big covered area where petting zoo is located during fair season. Its a parking lot but you are inside the gate and they have security. Water/electric and dogs allowed. It is an expensive overnighter at $35 with zero amenities except polite security guard who lets you in when you call. It is a great place to stay if visiting people in Fresno, but avoid parking here if there are any events going on.
