Lost Lake Campground is a beautiful and peaceful campground located a few miles east of Fresno, in the town of Friant. It has been recently renovated and offers 42 sites, all of which are paved and can accommodate RVs up to 36 feet long with slide outs. Each site has a large picnic table and a fire ring, and some have a view of the river. There is a permanent camp host to collect the overnight fees and provide an additional level of security. The campground offers a playground for kids, a walking trail, activities for the family, fishing, and good places for kayaking and swimming. It is close to the river and has lots of room to explore. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and the trees provide nice shade during the hotter times of the year. It can get hot in the summer, but it cools off at night. The price is $25 per night with discounts for disabled veterans and senior citizens. There are not enough trash cans and sometimes idiots come by leaving trash and making noise at odd hours, but the campground closes at 7pm. It is close to stores and the casino, and is highly recommended.

Kids and parents alike will enjoy fishing and hiking around Lost Lake, Dollar Lake and Lost Lake Slough. Beckwith Pass provides breathtaking vistas of the Ruby Mountain Range.
