Lake Sonoma Boat-In and Hike-To Campgrounds offer primitive camping options for those who want to experience the beauty of nature. The campsites are accessible only by boat or hiking, and potable water is not available. Campers must pack in their own water or have a high-quality water filtering device to use lake water for their needs. Caution should be exercised around campgrounds and on trails, as much of Lake Sonoma's terrain is steep. Individual campsites are $20 and group sites are $80 per night. Reservations can be made the day of camping and up to six months in advance; group sites may be reserved 12 months in advance.
